ZHENZHEN QI

The Rest of Me

喜喜

Born and raised in mainland China, I have been interested in incorporating Chinese culture inspiration into my design and fabrication. Double 喜 is one of my favorite traditional characters. It means joy and joy. It is usually hand cut on red paper by the elderly women of the family and posted on walls and windows in the newly wed’s home, to wish the new couple an auspicious life with abundance and harmony.
